We met online—but in an age before dating apps! A few days later, we arranged to meet in person. I was being urged to bring a date to my best friend Katerina’s birthday—she’s Greek and very persuasive! So, I found Tom online and invited him to the party that night. I didn’t manage to turn up with him that evening, but a week later, I surprised Katerina and introduced Tom properly.
